@bpolaszek @bitfalls for special cases like your, you can always fallback to a manual query builder until the db is messed up @bpolaszek @bitfalls Anyway there is not a silver bullet, there are several projects with legacy db that use doctrine, and many workarounds @bpolaszek @bitfalls Agreed that foreign key with string 'all' can be a problem, no problem with NULL (see nullable). @bpolaszek @bitfalls MyISAM has its own limitation regardless of Doctrine, so I don't get your point. No Foreign keys are not a dealbreaker

@bitfalls Avoid Active Record and use Data Mapper for best abstraction over the DB. Doctrine it's a good choice for php @bitfalls which language are you using?

@taylorotwell I guess depends on use case, I don't want to login again for updating permissions, but it's ok if the token is for a server. @taylorotwell I'm considering to move permissions from JWT to memcache (key: JWT token), so we can update permissions w\o changing token @taylorotwell just did something similar! Do you store permissions on JWT? How do you deal with permission changes, just regenerate token?
