@dan_abramov Here I thought my Redux example was going to clear it up! Glad to be of help, `git rebase -i` is my friend, and you inspire me. @dan_abramov Rebase to me is like a Redux action log. Going back to a prev state (up) and applying actions (diffs) that happened afterwards. @dan_abramov Each time you commit adds a new line at the bottom of the rebase list. If you move a commit up it’s like you did that earlier. @dan_abramov Hm, I can understand the confusion if you think in terms of `git log`, which sorts the other way. @dan_abramov They’re *sorted* from oldest to newest, thus previous is the commit above. @dan_abramov @runspired What do you mean? Previous === above. Squash vs. fix is basically just latter discarding the fix commit’s message :)

@ryanflorence BTW kudos on the three kids AND your P90X3 schedule! I'm impressed :) @ryanflorence @_munter_ @SlexAxton So "only" ~$200/mo/person. Still think you'd be happier in the US with a likely smaller implicit cost :) @_munter_ @ryanflorence @slexaxton I’d still agree that the security of knowing your hospital bill is taken care of if needed is better. @_munter_ @ryanflorence @slexaxton So ~$1000/mo after taxes do still sound a bit ridiculous. I assume that is total for 4 people though…? @_munter_ @ryanflorence @slexaxton In Norway you’d expect ~30%, but that includes as in Denmark universal health care… @_munter_ @ryanflorence @slexaxton Hi Denmark! It seems from https://t.co/dBJNtgaUdY Americans can expect ~25% in taxes anyway…

@nakrissimo Ouch, that is bad luck. Hope @nxupdates will reimburse you. At least I hope it wasn't raining as it was for us. @nakrissimo Happened to us in January too, waited over an hour and was just about to share a cab when a bus actually came. @nxupdates

@inconvergent Other highly useful things indeed. To each his own I guess! @inconvergent Git status though is less relevant. It's branch info, like cwd, that's useful. "What feature am I in now?". @inconvergent More frequently, sure. But a lot of my day is navigating my 3-5 branches, and patching my co-workers patches for review. @inconvergent I just got tired of typing 'git branch' a lot, maybe you're better at keeping track? Is current dir clutter too? @inconvergent How many branches and patches do you work with a day?
