@chrischinch Haha, have spent a long time looking for the perfect pannier bag. @chrischinch If a laptop bag is your thing, there are satchels that can be attached to the racks: https://t.co/A2vQvaN2tp @chrischinch Having said that, you can obviously get them with accommodations for laptops. @chrischinch I do on occasion, but a padded sleeve is a must. Most a pannier bags have little in the way of padding and protection. @chrischinch Do you have any requirements? I.e. price, aesthetics, features? @itursh Know of any good design researchers in Berlin I should be talking to? @itursh Ah thanks. @aaronabentheuer, don’t suppose you’ll be in Berlin at the end of September? 😉 @chrischinch My first pair were the Back-Roller Plus (https://t.co/iN212E91Us), but their Urban Line look nice (https://t.co/QhnsG2xoHa). @chrischinch Ortlieb are great value for money. There’s a reason why so many bicycles with a pannier bag have an Ortlieb attached.

@aaronabentheuer Great suggestions! Any individuals in Berlin come to mind? @chopeh Support representatives is great, hadn’t thought of them. @chopeh Any suggestions on roles in particular? Engineers collaborating with designers, product managers, etc.?If you were to attend a panel about design in tech, what would make for a more interesting group of panelists?

@mark_js After a few years, I’ve still not actually memorised the keyboard layout, so every now and then I find myself hunting for keys. @mark_js Perhaps using both allows you to maintain your muscle memory. I only have fragments of QWERTY left, mostly password reflexes. @mark_js @jegtnes @zachinglis How did you manage to maintain your ability to touch type on QWERTY!? @zachinglis Do be aware that after switching you’ll pretty much be useless an any QWERTY keyboard (touch screen keyboards are still fine). @zachinglis I switched to Dvorak a few years ago. Though I hear Colemak is all the rage these days.

@dotmariusz @josephcorcoran Maybe @WeWorkBER will hire a great in-house barista? Better yet, train me up as one! @dotmariusz Sad, but true. 😭 @josephcorcoran @dotmariusz Will have to check that out. Though, Westberlin is still closer, but a 7 minute cycle. @dotmariusz Wish there was at least one specialty coffee shop here in Potsdamer Platz, lack of good coffee is killing me! @dotmariusz Oh that sounds great. @dotmariusz Oh, exciting! @dotmariusz Yeah I got that, just got a little excited there. Does the new place have a name or anything? @dotmariusz There’s also The Visit opening on Adalbertstraße 9 soon, so you’re going to be so spoilt for choice around there. @dotmariusz Where, where!?

@milesalex I would have said Kichijoji, but I was there in 2009! Harajuku has a trendiness and edginess about it that’s worth checking out. @milesalex Mitaka and Kichijoji had an amazing vibe when I was there. It’s also where the Ghibli museum is.

@ddonahoo @mrconnorobrien @Simon_Collinson As for video, some of A Book Apart’s titles include video enabled EPUBs? @ddonahoo @mrconnorobrien @Simon_Collinson I used to produce clickable site maps and wireframes on client projects, but that was years ago.

@dotmariusz Oh, and Westberlin shouldn’t too far away. @dotmariusz Or Home Slice? Not sure if they’re open though. @dotmariusz Have you tried Fenster? Though, you’ll have to trek to Kreuzberg. @dotmariusz What about Chapter One? You should even be able to walk there depending on where you are.

@chrischinch I do have a tailor I use who travels to Berlin once or twice a year, happy to let you know next time he’s in town. @chrischinch Ah right. I’m not sure, will keep it in mind though. I usually get everything from the UK as I can’t find what I like here. @beatrixcoles @chrischinch Good question. I’m not sure. You’re looking for a specialist in Italian tailoring? Bespoke?

@hypothes_is @dwhly Yup, that did the trick. I was actually able to sign in via the bookmarklet with Safari on the Mac. @jongold @JayGreasley I saw two perspective changing talks by Chris Bangle and David Suzuki in that hall. Missing home right now. @hypothes_is Sign in via the bookmarklet doesn’t appear to work (sign in via website works), what am I doing wrong? https://t.co/RqJ9IIk2jU @JayGreasley You’re in Melbourne!?

@jaygreasley @jongold I tend to feel guilty pursuing interests outside of tech when I ‘should’ be learning CSS techniques or JS frameworks. @jaygreasley @jongold Spent the weekend pondering your response and couldn’t come up with anything to add other than, that I simply agree.

Technical interviews are the cause of so much of my imposter syndrome, @DavidChouinard perfectly articulates why: https://t.co/iFJYBdGjQa @davidchouinard This resonated with me so much. Any suggestions on where to find teams looking for product engineers? @jongold You’re interested in how to teach computers to be creative and I’m really interested in how computers can create love. @jongold And that paper really reminds me of this one (https://t.co/Qfawf7ZHng), which I came across via this (https://t.co/zSDXVxuwKx). @jongold There’s a great bit about how Bach used to encode his name in his music so as to fill it with himself. @jongold On a related theme, you might find Gödel, Escher, Bach (https://t.co/I38iEqrLhO) interesting.
