@atineose Of course that makes closures more flexible, but I never needed that. Also, delegate methods tend to have better names. @atineose Delegation is easier to follow. There is usually one delegate, but many objects can set each different closure. @atineose I personally prefer delegation because it becomes hard to track which class sets a closure in a big project.

@c2c_webdesign Since you are spamming me on an unrelated conversation, I really doubt your customer satisfaction. @atineose when talking about business, my goto place is @ramit’s https://t.co/KELh6vgivP His material is always the best, in any field. @atineose I keep a collection of links to success stories in the App Store here: https://t.co/F76K8KDrV4 @atineoSE they make great products that make your life better. People pay for that. Also, when they started they were not as sophisticated. @atineoSE you have to provide great value but most apps are useless. Devs blame the App Store but I don’t think it’s a special market. @atineoSE devs don’t know how to build sustainable businesses. It’s not the market. People pay even when there are free alternatives. @atineoSE Then you decide the technology. Steve jobs said it very clearly in the QA section of his first keynote after coming back to Apple. @atineoSE These are great features, but they make sense in some cases only. Understanding users is the first step. @atineoSE when most of apps make no money, we should rethink business strategies. We don’t need new technologies.

Using closures instead of delegate protocols seems a good idea, until you have a big project and lose track of where such closures are set.

@ratkins @jeffwatkins As my mentor says, they deserve to earn what they earn with their apps. @ratkins @jeffwatkins Don’t be sorry. Most apps are worthless, its expected. @MatManferdini Exactly. If you’re building an app no one wants, switching to subscriptions or buying an ad won’t help.

@Thisiscoolright I’ll talk more about it in the future. Unfortunately I’m not covering more advanced stuff yet. @Thisiscoolright check the massive view controller talk of Andy Matushack for an alternative with structs that fits with the model I use. @Thisiscoolright Haven’t had time to get to that yet unfortunately. @Thisiscoolright I don’t like it. Too undefined where code goes, for example networking, and too many objects
