![]() | Follow me and I'll start tracking the length of your tweets. The closer to a 140 character average, the better your score. |
Tweet140 is down for the count. It was fun while it lasted, but this game must come to an end. Our wings are tired, it's time to drift away.
I had some bugs that caused problems with adding some newer followers. I should be back up and running now. Welcome to all the new players!
I'm finally running again, filtering all the twooshes from the tweets. Check out http://tweet140.com to see if you're an eagle or a pidgeon.
Unfortunately, recent Twitter API rate limiting changes have made it impossible for Tweet140 to work properly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Those turkeys at FormSpring are giving away $140 (or so) in free gas. Flap over to the contest at http://tinyurl.com/5mhnon and try to win!
Thanks @MashupAwards for making us the mashup of the day! We accept this award on behalf of twooshers everywhere. http://tinyurl.com/yqwpro
Congrats to @geniodiabolico who's at the top of both leaderboards. @acomputerpro, @screwtheman and @jwynia's sharpened claws are closing in.
Send a DM to tweet140 with the contents 'frequency 0' to turn off DM updates, or 'frequency N' (where N is the number of days less than 30).Thanks for all the feedback regarding direct messages. There didn't seem to be a consensus besides "make it optional" so that's what we did.
Pondering stopping the direct messages that update you on your status every three days or ten tweets (whichever comes later). Your thoughts?Congrats to @abacab, @warbrain, @kzimmerman and @August, who rocked the twooshboard this week. What're the rest of you birds tweeting about?
Finished fixing a bug that caused us to stop following some people. Oops. It won't happen again. Apparently we tweet better than we program.
Waiting for the hour to pass. Hitting Twitter's 70 req/hr API rate limit, so can't follow everyone right away. Keep twooshing, we'll get it.
